Since the declaration of a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) in January 2020, the novel COVID-19 virus has ravaged economies and business across the globe. As at April 24, 2020, more than 2.5 million people have been infected with 180,000 deaths around the world. Ethiopia confirmed the first case of COVID19 on March 13, 2020. A state of emergency was declared and a series of government measures introduced. In light of these events which continue to impact how businesses and organisations operate, we have compiled the most frequently asked legal questions across various sectors and provided answers in our COVID-19 special page.
